so this one time i ran the ragnar....
a race from logan to park city.
i had three legs: 6.8 miles. 4.9 miles. and then 7.9 miles.
a grand total of 19.2.
it was hands down one of the hardest things i've ever done.
[my hips didn't forgive me for days.]
and yet it was so much fun, and so rewarding.
i went two days on basically no sleep.
aching muscles.
sleeping on a gym floor with a jillion other people.
running in the heat.
running at 3am.
laughing so hard my stomach hurt.
making new friends.
and proving to myself that i can do hard things.
thanks to my teammates for making it such a good experience for me!
